Mr Christopher Lindley

Mr Lindley completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Imperial College, London and during his time there also completed a Bachelor of Science in Gastroenterology and Hepatology achieving First Class Honours.

He undertook Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the Wessex region spending two years each at University Hospital Southampton and Portsmouth NHS Trust, as well as time at Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Winchester hospitals. During this time he gained experience training under the guidance of endometriosis specialists and gynaecology-oncologists developing his surgical skills and knowledge.

He is a combined obstetrician and gynaecologist, working as one half of the gynaecology-oncology service at Winchester hospital performing laparoscopic and open procedures for pre-cancer conditions and early-stage endometrial cancers. His gynaecology clinics include colposcopy, two week wait, and hysteroscopy clinics.

Mr Lindley is the sole provider of outpatient Novasure endometrial ablation in the organisation and working to increase awareness of this procedure and uptake for suitable patients.

He has also recently become Royal college of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists College Tutor overseeing the training and education needs of junior doctors working in his hospital Trust.

Mr. Akobundu Nnochiri

Mr Ako Nnochiri MRCOG completed his primary medical training in Nigeria, and had his postgraduate training in the UK. His training, which was extensive, took him from the highlands of Scotland, through the black country of the West midlands, and back to London where he spent very rewarding years specialising in Urogynaecology and laparoscopic surgery at the Homerton University Hospital. He has published papers and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals.

Mr Ako Nnochiri is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Barking Havering and Redbridge university hospitals NHS trust. He practices privately at The BMI independent hospital London, The Spire Hartswood in Brentwood, The Spire London East Hospital.

Mr Ako Nnochiri has a special interest in pelvic floor surgery, female urinary incontinence. He has developed expertise in Ambulatory gynaecology, and managing women with large uterine fibroids. He is an advanced laparoscopic surgeon.
